By the way, did I mention, I loved your colors! And the fish were cool!

I’ve been getting tons of emails from my friends and colleagues asking about Snow Leopard, Apple’s newest operating system, and wether or not it was safe to install. What I can tell you is this, all the major photography applications are working great, with a few exceptions. First off, if you haven’t upgraded to CS3/CS4 yet(and what are you waiting for) versions under CS3 will not work on Snow Leopard. They thought that CS3 wasn’t going to work either, but it has been tested and is working. I’m on CS4 so it wasn’t an issue for me in the least. Next is Aperture. I know many of my photog friends use Lightroom, and hey, I don’t hold that against you(kidding), but for those of us that use Aperture, you’ll want to install all the latests updates to Aperture before installing Snow Leopard. All previous versions of Aperture (anything less than 2.1.4) will not run on Snow Leopard. So, just update via automatic update and you’ll be fine. Lightroom is working fine as well. So, have no fear, jump into the Snowy goodness and enjoy the speed boost and performance increase!
For a full list of applications that do or do not work yet on Snow Leopard head here: http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/
And as always, if you have any problems or questions, just pop me off an email or chat.
